Lars H. Kruse is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at Concordia University. His research focuses on plant specialized metabolism, enzyme discovery, and synthetic biology, with the goal of understanding and engineering the biosynthesis of plant-derived molecules.
Plant specialized metabolism, synthetic biology, enzyme discovery and evolution, natural product biosynthesis, metabolic pathway engineering, and heterologous pathway reconstruction.
